WHAT IS THE EDDIE ARAGON LULAC DOLLARS FOR LATINO SCHOLARS SCHOLARSHIP?
The Eddie Aragon Dollars for Latino/a Scholars Scholarship has been established for education assistance to recognize and support active LULAC Council members who are pursuing a college education.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
The scholarships are available to active LULAC high school seniors who are accepted or pending acceptance into an accredited institute of higher learning.

HOW ARE RECIPIENTS SELECTED?
A scholarship selection committee of three or more impartial members shall select the winners and two alternates for the scholarships.

WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION?

1. Eddie Aragon LULAC Dollars for Latino/a Scholars application form (Must be typed).
2. Official Transcript (must include semester 1 of senior year and ACT/SATR scores). 3.
3. Two letters of recommendation from an unrelated person of your choice (LULAC Sponsor, Principal, Counselor, Teacher, Minister, etc.).

Once again, we know that all will successfully complete their college education and go on to do great things for themselves and the Latino/a community.  (Please join me in congratulating all of them on the LULAC Comment board.)  Parentheses are because I’m not sure when we can have a comment board up an running.

Also, a great big Thank You goes out to both Betty J. Cordova and Marie Gallegos, the two Scholarship committee chairs, for their many hours put in to make sure that the Eddie Aragon Dollars for Latino/a Scholars was such a great success.  Thank you Betty and Marie.
